This is the Alpacka brand Alpaca model packraft we’ll carry on our 2010 ANWR traverse. It’s made in Mancos Colorado and is 67” long, 38” wide and weighs 4lb 6oz. Although it was designed as a single person raft we’ll both squeeze into one for short river crossings and flat water sections. We’ve devised detachable paddle blades for our ice axes so they can serve as paddles. |
